South Dakota delivers high-quality DDGS ... ASAP.

The rapid growth of the dry mill ethanol industry in South Dakota has resulted in a growing number of suppliers of DDGS. Currently our state has 13 operating ethanol plants, with more on the way.

On the other side of the fence, South Dakota corn producers are set to harvest nearly 570 million bushels of corn in 2007. That's the largest corn harvest our state has ever seen.

South Dakota's ethanol leadership is clear:
  • #1 in the U.S. for farmer-owned plants
  • #1 in the U.S. for percentage of corn used
  • #4 in the U.S. for total ethanol production

Simply put — the South Dakota corn industry has the ability and the means to meet demands for DDGS now and in the future.
